Ensygnia granted second patent

Another great step forward for my company: Ensygnia, the mobile payments company backed by Telefonica’s technology start-up accelerator Wayra, today confirmed it had been granted its second UK patent. Ensygnia secures $3.3m in seed funding

Ensygnia has just closed a $3.3m pre-revenue, seed round in the UK. Backers include Wayra the Telefonica / O2 accelerator, Rhoddy Swire (of Pantheon Ventures – investing personally), Irongate Capital, Sancy Capital and Jesus College Cambridge as well as other investors, the founders and management team.
