UK 2014 Digital Mission to New York

17-21 February 2013

Digital-Mission-250x250

Fast growing digital firm @EnsygniaLtd selected for UK 2014 @digitalmission to New York backed by @UKTI (London)

Digital Mission is a series of trade missions organized by Chinwag for UK-based small and medium sized firms operating in the digital sector. The missions support UK digital companies to expand internationally, understand foreign markets, attract investment, find partners and develop business relationships. The fifth Digital Mission to NYC took place from the 17th – 21st February 2014 coincided with Social Media Week New York.

On the mission, members of the Ensygnia team met with well known US retailers as well as visiting @Foursquare, @Bloomberg and a number of VCs.  We’d recommend UK companies looking to expand to the US to apply to the annual mission.  Chinwag have several years of experience in organising the event and that makes it really worthwhile.  It’s also a great example of UKTI providing support for export and included a day at British Consulate with entrepreneurs that had already made the move, drawing on their experience not only of doing business in the US but also making the leap to living state-side.
